Mascot Arena glossary.
Plain-English definitions of the terms used in Mascot Arena — mascots, the Drought, Game Days, draft cards, and the rest of the run loop.
- Mascot Arena
- The free-to-play mobile sports survival action game from Rosterlytic LLC. Players pick a mascot, dodge enemy waves, draft upgrades, and beat bosses across five stages.
- Mascot
- A playable character in Mascot Arena. The launch roster is Bear (hockey), Eagle (basketball), and Bull (football). Each mascot has a primary attack, signature move, ultimate ability, and mastery tree.
- Bear
- A hockey-themed mascot in the Mascot Arena launch roster. Role: skirmisher. Primary attack: Hockey Puck. Signature move: Body Check. Ultimate: Slapshot Storm.
- Eagle
- A basketball-themed mascot in the Mascot Arena launch roster. Role: sharpshooter. Primary attack: Bouncing Basketball. Signature move: Bank Shot. Ultimate: Full Court Press.
- Bull
- A football-themed mascot in the Mascot Arena launch roster. Role: tank. Primary attack: Charge-and-Pass Combo. Signature move: Bullrush. Ultimate: Hail Mary.
- The Drought
- The antagonist faction of Mascot Arena, and the name of the final boss at Stage 5. Drought enemies appear in waves and escalate through the game.
- Drought enemies
- Five enemy archetypes that mix into Mascot Arena waves: Hush Wraith (chaser), Dust Devil (zig-zag projectile), Empty Seat (charge tank), Echo Warden (sniper), and Static Crowd (aura buffer).
- Game Day
- A single playable run within a stage. Stages are made up of multiple Game Days; the last Game Day of each stage is a boss day.
- Boss day
- The Game Day at the end of each Mascot Arena stage where the player fights a boss. The five bosses are The Yard King, The Ringer, The Prospect, The Gatekeeper, and The Drought.
- Draft card
- After clearing a wave, a Mascot Arena player picks one of three upgrade cards. Cards stack across a single run and reshape damage, defense, or movement.
- Wave
- A timed group of Drought enemies that the player must survive within a Game Day. Each Game Day is built from multiple waves leading toward the boss wave.
- Stage
- One of the five Mascot Arena stages. Each stage is a themed arena with its own boss day. Stage 5 ends with The Drought.
- Mascot Cup
- The final stage of Mascot Arena. Reaching the Mascot Cup and defeating The Drought is the championship goal of the run loop.
- Mastery
- A per-mascot progression track that unlocks abilities specific to that mascot. Mastery progress is earned by playing runs with that mascot.
